Family and Adolescent Support Hub [FASH]
The FASH provides help and support to vulnerable 11 to 17-year-olds at risk of entering care [for welfare or criminological reasons] or to those leaving care and returning to live with their families.
Fash Roles and Responsibilities
Commit to at least 1 year as a volunteer on the FASH Project
Have completed DBS Check
Take part in FASH related training
Attend meetings with families acting as an advocate for them
Signpost parents to access other local services which will benefit them
Actively encourage parents to become PEP members so they can receive the training and additional support it provides.
Attend group supervision sessions
Meet with assigned case worker for supervision and support
Shadow specific members of FASH staff for personal development
Attend FASH staff meetings
Provide a brief summary to their supervisor of any direct support given to the families.
